A consortium of 8 financial institutions from Russia and Eurasian Development Bank entered the deal.
TRANSKAPITALBANK, Alfa-Bank and Promsvyazbank acted as Mandated Lead Arrangers and bookrunners in this transaction, while Russian Agricultural Bank, Svyaz Bank, Eurasian Development Bank, Finservice, AK Bars and Nefteprombank acted as lenders.
This syndicated facility is unique for the whole Belorussian banking system as it is denominated in three currencies (Euros, US dollars and Russian rubles) and the largest syndicated term loan facility attracted by Belagroprombank on international debt capital markets.
“The book was oversubscribed two times, which indicated high confidence to Belargoprombank. Arrangement of another syndicated loan for the Belorussian bank is a confirmation of a high reputation of the Belorussian banks-borrowers among the international partners”, said Elena Shirinskaya, Deputy Chairman of the Management Board.
TKB is among the leading players on the syndicated loan market for the CIS banks. In 2015 TKB organized 5 syndicated loans for the Belorussian banks for total amount exceeding EUR 750mln.
